1.180° short radius welded steel elbows are professional fabricated pipe fittings, widely applied in space-limited industrial and municipal piping systems that require 180° U-turn fluid circulation and directional reversal. Manufactured in strict compliance with ASME B16.9 and GB/T 12459 national and international standards, this product adopts a standard 1.0D short-radius bending design. Different from 1.5D long-radius elbows that occupy larger installation space, its compact bending structure greatly saves pipeline layout space and is the optimal fitting for dense pipe networks and narrow construction environments. Unlike integral seamless elbows restricted by large-diameter specifications, this elbow is processed by steel plate rolling, precision shaping and standardized butt welding, featuring flexible size customization, low manufacturing cost and no caliber limit, which makes up for the specification defects of traditional seamless fittings.
2.In terms of structural performance, the 1.0D short-radius design realizes rapid 180° fluid reversal. Although the hydraulic loss is slightly higher than that of long-radius elbows, the optimized rolling forming process ensures smooth and flat inner wall of the elbow. Under rated temperature and pressure working conditions, it can maintain stable fluid delivery, effectively avoid turbulent flow and pipeline resonance caused by sudden fluid steering, and ensure long-term stable operation of circulating piping systems. Through scientific groove processing and full-penetration welding technology, the product effectively avoids structural stress concentration at the bending and welding parts, and eliminates hidden dangers such as weld cracks and slag inclusion.
3.The product is made of high-quality carbon steel structural plates with stable chemical composition, uniform metallographic structure and excellent weldability and formability. The whole production process covers plate leveling, CNC precision rolling, radian calibration, end groove finishing and automatic submerged arc welding. All welding joints undergo strict ultrasonic and radiographic non-destructive testing to screen out internal welding defects. Post-weld stress relief treatment is carried out to eliminate residual welding stress, stabilize mechanical properties, and ensure finished products have uniform wall thickness, accurate dimensional tolerance and smooth internal and external surface quality.
4.With compact structure, strong applicability and high cost performance, 180° short radius welded steel elbows are widely used in municipal water supply and drainage, industrial circulating water systems, thermal power supporting pipelines, general chemical conveying pipelines and water conservancy projects.
